Step 1: Drink Plenty Of Water:
Constipation is the most common cause of hemorrhoids, so drink at least 8 glasses of water per day to prevent it.
Step 2: Eat High Fiber foods:
Eat high-fiber foods every day, such as bran, cereal, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.
Step 3: Get Plenty Of Exercise:
30 minutes of Exercise per day will help with your digestion. Swimming, Yoga and walking are all good to help with constipation.
Step 4: Take A Warm Bath:
Spend a good 15 to 20 minutes in a warm bath with the water covering your bottom and hips.Avoid soap, essential oils, and scented bath salts.
Step 5: A moist towelette instead of Toilet Paper:
Use unscented, non-alcohol, moist towelettes instead of toilet paper to clean the anus area.
Step 6: Apply an Icepack:
Apply an ice pack to your Hemorrhoids to reduce swelling and discomfort.
Step 7: Ask Your Doctor About Medication:
Discuss with your doctor about medication and creams that are safe to use.
Step 8: Avoid Anal Sex:
It does sound obvious but avoid sexual activity in the hemorrhoid affected area.
