What's the difference between internal & external hemorrhoids?

Not much, but one type hurts and the other doesn't. At least until it possibly becomes the other. Wait? What?

And getting rid of them for the average hemorrhoid sufferer (and I do mean sufferer) is generally easy. But SOME people need a crazy procedure where they wrap small rubber bands around the hemorrhoid until all the blood supply is cut off out, the hemorrhoid dies, and then falls off. O. M. G.
